In spring and fall of each year, the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) holds Walk4Hearing events in cities across the country. Perhaps one of the most inspiring hearing loss events in the U.S., these community walks aim to increase public awareness and raise funds for programs and services that support people with hearing loss. Be sure to watch for a Walk4Hearing event in your neighborhood. Whether you invite others and start a team or simply walk on your own, the sense of fun, advocacy, and community fostered by Walk4Hearing makes it a celebration you won’t want to miss!

CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence®
Hearing Charities of America established a national fund that aims to increase awareness about hearing health in communities around the U.S. Through local CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence events, they raise money to fund hearing health-related projects, continuing education for hearing loss professionals, hearing loss prevention programs, charitable activities, and hearing health nonprofits.
Local HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America) Chapter Events
Local HLAA chapters offer the chance to support others with hearing loss, participate in educational programs, and discover hearing loss resources in your area. Many local HLAA chapters host hearing loss events that offer additional opportunities for networking and discovery right in your neighborhood.
