Product Description:
CapTel Captioned Telephone Models 840, 840i, 880i, and 2400i (a “Covered Product”).

What is Covered:
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in a Covered Product, subject to the exceptions stated below (a “Covered Defect”).

Who is Covered:
This warranty covers the purchaser of a Covered Product and anyone else who owns the Covered Product during the Warranty Period.

How Long Coverage Lasts:
This warranty and any implied warranties run for five years from the date of the initial purchase of a Covered Product (the “Warranty Period”). Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation on implied warranties may not apply to you.

What Is Not Covered:
CapTel service is not covered by this warranty. CapTel service is obtained through a separate agreement with a CapTel service provider. This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by accident, resulting from misuse, abuse, or disregard for reasonable care, subjecting the product to electrical voltage other than the voltage authorized in the user manual (including lightning), or attaching the product to any device that is not approved in the user manual. This warranty excludes any incidental or consequential damages resulting from defects in the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation on incidental and consequential damages may not apply to you.

What Captel Will Do:
When you notify CapTel of a Covered Defect in your Covered Product during the Warranty Period, CapTel will ship to you a functionally equivalent replacement, which may be new or reconditioned. CapTel will replace the Covered Product at no cost to you if you return your defective product to CapTel within ten days of receiving the replacement, following the instructions and using packaging materials furnished with the replacement. If you fail to return your defective product within this ten day period, CapTel will charge you the entire retail cost of the replacement.
