What does "Update Available" mean?
CapTel 800 users may occasionally see "Update Available" on the blue information bar in the display screen. This means that a software update is available for your CapTel telephone. Software updates are routinely made to ensure the highest quality captioning service for your CapTel phone.
To update your telephone with the most current software, simply press the YES button. Your CapTel phone will begin the process automatically.
NOTE: The update process may take several minutes. If you would like to conduct the update at a later / more convenient time, you may set a delay in the Options menu.
