Type of phone lines that work with CapTel 200

September 24, 2010 | Print | Bookmark

The CapTel 200 is designed to work with a standard analog telephone line, the type of line most commonly found for household telephones.

  • It also can be used with a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) with a DLS filter.
  • CapTel 200 is not compatible with VOIP or digital cable telephone services. VOIP users should use the CapTel 800i instead.
  • Connection to any telephone line other than analog may damage the CapTel 200 or the telephone system, and will void the CapTel 200 warranty. Exception: Using CapTel 200 in 2-Line mode as directed below.
